weird al yankovic video foil word crimes mandatory fun gi Weird Al Yankovic's 'Foil' and 'Word Crimes' videos tackle conspiracy and grammar

“Weird Al” Yankovic has turned his parodying mind to two of pop music’s biggest hits: “Royals” by Lorde and “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke. The results are “Foil” and “Word Crimes.” Watch both videos here.

First up is “Foil,” a conspiracy-laden ode to aluminum-wrapping products.

While wrapping sandwiches might be more practical, you can’t argue with the hat either. Not when it turns out that Patton Oswalt is really a lizard person.

“Word Crimes” comes next, with its intricate grammar lessons out to stop those who would abuse verbiage on the Internet.

Both songs come from Yankovic’s new album, “Mandatory Fun,” and follow the comedy singer’s first video, “Tacky.”
