Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were one of the acts riding a float and performing for the 2013 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They were on some kind of cheerleader-themed float performing “Any Weather,” the lead single of 2013 album “Unvarnished.”

And frankly, not looking particularly enthused to be there. Perhaps she doesn’t really mean “any weather” — at least in regards to riding with a giant megaphone down 34th Street in freezing temperatures as teenybopper girls wave pom-poms (and possibly wonder who Joan Jett even is).

Heh. What was your favorite performance from the Macy’s 2013 Thanksgiving Day Parade? We really liked Kristin Chenoweth on “New York, New York” — even despite the lip-sync flub.
