A new Zayn Malik song has been released.

Now that Zayn Malik is working on music outside of his former group One Direction, he’s putting out a very different sound.
British rapper MIC Righteous has released a cover of Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type,” complete with vocals from Malik. The hip-hop flavored track features a driving bass line, with MIC Righteous providing the rapping. It’s a far cry in tone from One Direction’s pop anthems like “What Makes You Beautiful.”

Since leaving the group, Malik has maintained a low profile in the public eye. That is, unless you count that Twitter fight he got into with One Directioner Louis Tomlinson. The latter eventually put the idea of a feud to rest.
The group later sent Malik their love and thanks when accepting the 2015 Billboard Music Award for Top Duo or Group.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
