Thursday, Oct. 30:

“A to Z” – “E is for Ectoplasm,” 9:30 p.m., NBC: Ray Parker Jr., the man behind the “Ghostbusters” theme, guest stars as himself for an epic Halloween party.

“Elementary” Season 3 premiere, 10 p.m., CBS: Not only does Joan have a new beau, but Sherlock has a new apprentice, who seems somewhat shady. And she and Joan have an epic first meeting.

“Reign” – “Blood for Blood,” 9 p.m., The CW: Kenna discovers a sex journal, with clues leading to the best lover at court. Woo woo.

Friday, Oct. 31:

“Constantine” – “The Darkness Beneath,” 10 p.m., NBC: In the course of protecting a small mining community from some evil spirits, John finds a vital new ally in a mysterious young woman named Zed (Angelica Celaya).

Sunday, Nov. 2:

“The Good Wife” – “Message Discipline,” 9 p.m., CBS: David Hyde Pierce returns to TV for the first time since “Frasier” went off the air when he debuts as legal commentator Frank Prady.

“Olive Kitteridge” part 1, 9 p.m., HBO: A miniseries about a small New England town fraught with deception and illicit activities, starring Frances McDormand, Richard Jenkins, Bill Murray, John Gallagher, Jr., Peter Mullan, Rosemarie DeWitt and Zoe Kazan. (Part 2 airs the following night).

Monday, Nov. 3:

“Gotham” – “Penguin’s Umbrella,” 8 p.m., FOX: For all the Robin Lord Taylor fans out there, it’s a Penguin-heavy episode as the villain reveals a new facet of his strategy.

“The Originals” – “Red Door,” 8 p.m., The CW: Nina Dobrev crosses over to appear as Tatia, the original doppelganger, whom Elijah was once in love with. Plus Mikael and Klaus come face to face.

Tuesday, Nov. 4:

“MasterChef Junior” Season 2 premiere, 8 p.m., FOX: 16 new adorable moppets will be cooking up a storm in the MasterChef kitchen. Season 1 winner Alexander Weiss is the special guest for the mystery box challenge.

“The Mindy Project” – “Tick Tock… Tick Tock,” 9:30 p.m., FOX: Allison Tolman (“Fargo”) guest stars as a date for Peter (Adam Pally). It does not go well.

Election coverage, 10 p.m., ABC, CBS and NBC: If you’re interested in the midterm elections, you have a variety of channels to choose from.

Wednesday, Nov. 5:

“The 100” – “Reapercussions,” 9 p.m. The CW: Clarke’s terrifying discovery in Mt. Weather just keeps getting worse as she and Anya end up in the reaper tunnels. And Kane must make a hard choice regarding Abby.

“Arrow” – “The Secret Origin of Felicty Smoak,” 8 p.m., The CW: As the title reveals, it’s Felicity’s origin story, which includes meeting her mother Donna (guest star Charlotte Ross).

48th annual CMA Awards, 8 p.m. ABC: For the country music lovers out there, the CMAs are one of country’s biggest nights. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley return to host for the seventh straight year.
