glaad media awards nominees 2015 htgawm transparent glee 2015 GLAAD Media Awards recognize 'Transparent,' 'How to Get Away With Murder'There are 52 comedy series and 83 drama series with regular LGBT characters, and GLAAD has recognized 20 of those shows as nominees for the 26th annual GLAAD Media Awards — including Golden Globe winner “Transparent,” freshman hit “How to Get Away With Murder” and more.

In 2005, just eight comedies and 17 dramas were considered for the annual awards, which “recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives.”
