If you don’t have plans for Christmas weekend, your TV is there for you — and if you do have plans, set the DVR accordingly, because there’s a plethora of options to stock up on.

There are holiday movie marathons on several channels, including AMC, Freeform, Hallmark and Lifetime. TBS and TNT are also running their annual 24-hour marathon of “A Christmas Story” beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Christmas Eve.

If you’re looking for something a little darker for the Yuletide, there’s a “Criminal Minds” marathon, a “Law & Order: SVU” marathon, a “Shameless” marathon, a winter disaster movie marathon and even a marathon on Oxygen of something called “Homicide for the Holidays.” Cheery!

Finally, if sports is what you crave, there are some great NFL and NBA match-ups happening all weekend long, plus ESPN 2 is marathoning the “30 for 30” series on Christmas morning.
