High School Musical Reunion

The epic 10-year reunion of the “High School Musical” cast airs this Wednesday (Jan. 20), and everyone is gearing up for the special screening of the Disney movie. While everyone tunes in to watch Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad and Taylor reunite again on the small screen, the actors behind the characters will reminisce about old times.

In honor of the greatest high school reunion of all time, we’ve put together a list of things we want to see most from the short-lived revival.

Some ‘Grease Live’ talk

Vanessa Hudgens is set to star in the new FOX musical “Grease Live” at the end of January, and it would be a shame if she didn’t spill a few secrets or spoilers from upcoming show. After all, she got her start in a made-for-TV musical, so why not make it a theme of the night?

A surprise appearance by Zac Efron

Yes, yes … this one is not very likely. Zac Efron will reportedly not be joining the alumni cast of “High School Musical” for the reunion, but wouldn’t it be a total coup if he showed up anyway? If not, fans will just have to settle for the pre-filmed video message he sent in his place.

Nostalgic behind-the-scenes stories

What high school reunion would be complete without a whole slew of embarrassing stories from the past? There was a time that the cast of “High School Musical” were joined at the hip, so they’ve got to have a few juicy memories to share from their time on set.

A fan video montage

The following “High School Musical” had was crazy enough to get it two sequels, and fans’ favorite way to interact with the cast and creators used to be making their own videos. Hundreds of them are probably still up on YouTube, so let’s get a montage of old school “High School Musical” fans dancing their own version of all the greatest hits from the first film.

An encore rendition of ‘We’re All In This Together’

You just know the cast still remembers the dance moves to their finale number. Even 10 years later, surely a few of them still have their dancing chops ready to go, and what better way to end a reunion than with the movie’s most popular dance number? If they’re rusty, they can always check out the online tutorial video they made for fans back in the day.
