Adding to the list of women standing up to show their support towards Kesha, is none other than powerhouse lady singer Adele.
While accepting her trophy for solo female artist at the BRIT awards in London on Wednesday (Feb. 24), Adele first thanks her “management and my record label for embracing the fact that I’m a woman and being encouraged by it.”
“I’d also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha,” Adele adds, showing her support for the legally embattled pop singer. Kesha was recently denied by a court to record and release her own music without Dr. Luke, the producer Kesha has accused for physical, verbal and sexual assault — all charges for which Dr. Luke has vehemently denied
The “Hello” singer also made a shout out “to all the other girls that were nominated, thank you for letting me be in your company. You’re all incredible. You’re all amazing, and it’s a privilege to be alongside you. Thank you so much.”
