Chloe Bennett and John Stamos

It’s week two of fall premieres and there are some returning and new shows to check out tonight. Follow along as Zap2it tells you what to watch live, DVR and skip altogether. All times are in ET/PT.

Hour one, 8 p.m.

Watch live: ‘Grandfathered’ (FOX), ‘The Grinder’ (FOX)

Two new FOX comedies are debuting back-to-back, giving the world more TV time for John Stamos and Rob Lowe. What’s not to love? The laughs will get you ready for “Scream Queens” at 9 p.m., should you be tuning into that.

DVR/stream: ‘The Muppets’ (ABC), ‘Fresh Off the Boat’ (ABC) ‘The Voice’ (NBC)

After getting off to a promising start, “The Muppets” welcomes Josh Groban as Miss Piggy’s new love interest, creating all kinds of problems for the “Up Late” crew. Meanwhile, Eddie is suffering from heartbreak on “Fresh Off the Boat” and only Boyz II Men can cure him.

As for “The Voice,” it’s another night of blind auditions as the coaches pick their teams. If you’re a fan, you can watch this later and skip the ones you don’t care about.

Skip: ‘NCIS’ (CBS), ‘The iHeartradio Music Festival’ (The CW)

Unless you’re an “NCIS” fan, there’s no reason to concern yourself with this one. If you are a fan, you’ll just ignore this anyway.

Lastly, if anything interesting happens during the “iHeartradio Music Festival,” it’ll be all over YouTube the next day.

Hour two, 9 p.m.

Watch live: ‘Agents of SHIELD’ (ABC), ‘Scream Queens’ (FOX)

This is a tough one to call. “Agents of SHIELD” is back and Skye (Chloe Bennett) has a whole new identity — Hey, Daisy. With the Inhumans set to play a major role in Season 3, it’s important to see how this will start.

However, if you loved the premiere of “Scream Queens,” you’ll likely want to watch live or completely avoid Twitter until you see it. The horror comedy series was all the rage on social media during its premiere last week and chances are it will be again.

DVR/stream: ‘The Voice’ (NBC)

See 8 p.m. You’re going to by DVRing this if you’re a fan, otherwise move on.

Skip: “NCIS: New Orleans” (CBS), ‘The iHeartradio Music Festival’ (The CW)

Much like the original flavor of “NCIS,” if you’re not already watching “New Orleans,” why start now? It’ll always be there.

As for the “iHeartradio Music Festival,” if something crazy happens it’ll be all over the Internet the next day.

Hour three, 10 p.m.

Watch live: ‘Limitless’ (CBS)

If you enjoyed last week’s “Limitless,” you’re going to watch to tune in again, as Brian is already putting his new job at risk when he gets involved in a murder investigation.

DVR/stream: ‘Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris’ (NBC)

In week 3, “Best Time Ever” is finding its rhythm and format. Luckily for you, that means catching it streaming or on the DVR isn’t a huge loss because chances are you’ll skip around to your favorite bits anyway.

Skip: ‘Quantico’ (ABC)

Unless you missed the premiere of “Quantico,” there’s no reason to tune into this encore airing.
