Alison Sweeney is saying goodbye to “The Biggest Loser” after almost 10 years on the show.
“After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of ‘The Biggest Loser’ next season,” producers for the show tell Access Hollywood.
Sweeney has been hosting the show since 2007. For seven years Sweeney pulled double duty between “Biggest Loser” and her role on “Days of Our Lives,” until she left the soap in 2014. Next the actress will appear in the Hallmark Channel movie “Love on the Air,” on Sept. 26, which she also executive produced. Sweeney’s “Murder She Baked: A Plum Pudding Murder Mystery” will premiere in November.
“The Biggest Loser” will begin filming its 17th season in September.
NBC confirms to Zap2it that the report is correct.
