La'Porsha Renae continued her reign in the "American Idol" competition on Thursday (March 24) by changing up her style. Not only did she upgrade her hair-do, her performance of Bon Jovi's classic "Wanted Dead or Alive" got everyone in the room believing she was indeed a cowboy.

Aside from her previous cover of The Beatles' "Come Together," this is really the only other time we've seen La'Porsha get a bit rock-n-roll with her performance and it definitely suits her. The comparisons to Tina Turner are well deserved and all the judges had nothing but positive acclaim for the rising star.

Later in the episode, Sia showed up to mentor the remaining contestants. La'Porsha took the stage a second time to perform her rendition of "Elastic Heart" and continued to prove why she's the frontrunner.

We can call her a frontrunner, right? As it looks now, it'll be either her or Trent Harmon taking the top prize and that's a difficult choice to make. Still, with the 14-hour hairstyle and that infectious talent, it's safe to say if La'Porsha can do Bon Jovi, there's really nothing out there she can't make her own.

"American Idol" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
