Once MacKenzie Bourg hit the stage on Wednesday (Feb. 24), the "American Idol" competition had already hit some highs and lows. With Dalton Rapattoni, Olivia Rox, Trent Harmon and La'Porsha Renae getting fast passes into the Top 10, the remaining hopefuls were champing at the bit to join them for the live shows.

Bourg may have performed last but that doesn't make his performance any less important. Once again bringing his original song "Roses" to the show, the singer/songwriter exuded nothing but charm and emotion as he serenaded the crowd.

Sounding like a young John Mayer, it's a pretty safe bet Bourg won points with the judges, as well as America.

Since the decision is in the audience's hands, there are four hopefuls who won't make it through past Thursday's (Feb. 25) show. Will MacKenzie Bourg make the cut?

Find out on "American Idol" as the results will be revealed in an epic two-hour episode, airing Thursday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
