"American Idol" ramped up the competition in Wednesday's (Feb. 24) episode. At the top of the show, the judges called out the first four hopefuls making it into the Top 10.

Agreeing unanimously on these picks, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban picked Dalton Rapattoni, Olivia Rox, Trent Harmon and La'Porsha Renae. The four excited contestants headed to the sidelines to watch the rest of the hopefuls battle it out for America's vote.

Of the standout performances -- and there really were a lot of them -- Tristan McIntosh rises to the top as the 17-year-old singer brought a beautiful rendition of the Rascal Flatts track, "What Hurts the Most," to the stage.

McIntosh states in her intro video that she wants to bring diversity to country music and this entry into the competition may help her do just that. Keith Urban is quick to point out the perfect song choice for the young songstress.

Is it enough to get her into the Top 10? Find out when "American Idol" continues on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
