Andy Samberg

If you’ve been wanting to give HBO’s streaming service HBO Now a shot, you now can free of charge thanks to 2015 Emmy Awards host Andy Samberg.

“HBO has the most nominations tonight, and I just realized that a lot of you watching at home may not have an HBO subscription,” Samberg says during the ceremony. “But lucky for you, the CEO of HBO recently said that he doesn’t think password sharing for their streaming services is a problem. So! Here’s my HBO Now login!”

As for his recommendations, Samberg has those too. “Check out ‘Game of Thrones’, watch a buttload of ‘Arliss,’ HBO doesn’t care and they said so on the record,” he adds. Maybe this will help “Game of Thrones” lose its place as the most pirated TV show.

To log in, head over to HBONow.com. For the email address enter “Khaleesifan3@EmmyHost.com” and password “password1” to get access to HBO’s full video library, streaming on your computer or mobile decide.

Don’t worry about upsetting HBO either. The premium network is standing behind Samberg’s gift to viewers via a tweet. “Lucky for you, @AndySamberg is a very generous #Emmys host,” the service writes. Perhaps they were in on it the whole time.
