Jon Stewart mocks Arby's on 'The Daily Show'

After signing off from the “The Daily Show” for the last time, Stewart’s true legacy is now known: Arby’s is dedicating a sandwich to him. And people say dreams don’t come true.

After years of mocking the fast food sandwich chain, Arby’s is repaying Stewart’s words in kind with a creation called the Daily Deli, which features two portions of corned beef and deli mustard on marble rye. In a video announcing the arrival of the Daily Deli, Arby’s says, “It’s for Jon, but also it’s for all of us to eat at Arby’s whenever the sad thoughts come back.”

According to Brand Eating, the Daily Deli isn’t a menu item at Arby’s restaurants, but can be ordered by name at all locations. Now that he’s retired from “The Daily Show,” perhaps Arby’s should offer Stewart a lifetime supply of sandwiches in exchange for becoming its new spokesman.
