The annual crossover is almost here but more importantly, it's tie for the 100th episode of "Arrow." Hitting the century mark is a big deal for any TV show and "Arrow" is the first of the CW's superhero universe to cross that line.

That's why the 100th episode of "Arrow" matters so much and why many fans were scared it would get lost in the crossover with "The Flash," "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow." Luckily, the show's writers have found a way to honor "Arrow" with a storyline that's likely to turn a few heads.

The first photos from the episode have been released and they reveal some pretty major plot points to look forward to.

It's set around Oliver's wedding ... to Laurel

In the episode's story, Oliver (Stephen Amell) wakes up in an alternate timeline. It's one where he was never shipwrecked. Instead, he's happily engaged to Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and from the looks of things their wedding has arrived. Surely this won't go well, right?

The Queen family is whole

This poor family has never gotten a fair shake of things. Sure they were billionaires, but drama and turmoil always seemed to follow them. Without the shipwreck to tear the Queens apart though, the family looks stronger and happier than ever. There's something to be said for that.

Felicity and Ray ended up together

While Laurel and Oliver are ready to walk down the aisle in this different timeline, there's another interesting couple represented. It seems Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) ended up with Ray (Brandon Routh) in this reality. It should be interesting to see them slip back into those roles, albeit temporarily.

The Lance sisters are reunited

It should warm your heart to see Sara (Caity Lotz) and Laurel back together. The Lance sisters have never had much luck when it comes to spending time together on "Arrow" -- between death, bloodlust and time traveling. Savoring their reunion may be the best part of the episode.

Even without the Green Arrow, trouble still finds Oliver

What's Oliver Queen's life without trouble, right? While it's unclear if he's become the Green Arrow in this timeline -- it's very unlikely -- the bad guys still seem to find him. We know Deathstroke is in the episode, but what does he want with the Queen family?
