A ghost from John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) past has come back to haunt him in Wednesday night’s episode of “Arrow,” titled, “Brotherhood.”
It was just a few weeks ago that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) enlisted the assistance of John Constantine (Matt Ryan) and in that episode — titled “Haunted — Diggle discovered a folder containing some top secret details regarding the true nature of his brother’s disappearance.
But while it’s been believed that Andy Diggle (Eugene Byrd) has been dead for the past eight years, new evidence arises to contest that theory as Diggle unexpectedly runs in with his younger brother who is now one of Damien Dahrk’s (Neal McDonough) ghosts.
The shock soon wears off and Diggle begins to struggle with the concept of rescuing his long-missing brother from Darhk’s grasps. It’s Queen’s decision to suit up and follow Quentin Lance’s (Paul Blackthorne) tip of some misdeeds going down at the docks and it’s there that they witness first hand how these unfortunate men become ghosts.
Just one simple little yellow pill from Mr. Dahrk make them way more malleable to do his bidding.
Thanks to some super sleuthing by Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), a mysterious tooth from one of the masked men leads the team to a “defunct looney bin” where a raid ensues and Andy is rescued … albeit against his will.
In an effort to get answers, Diggle confronts his younger brother — who is now being held in a rather sizable cage — only to get one simple confirmation that everything in that top secret file was true.
While Diggle got the answer he was looking for, this just leads to the obvious next question: why? Here’s hoping he’ll soon get the answers he seeks.
“Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
