echo kellum arrow thecw Arrow: Curtis Holt is getting in on Team Arrow action, pre Mr. Terrific

“Arrow” fans are only seeing the beginning of Curtis Holt’s (Echo Kellum) story and his evolution into becoming the superhero known as Mr. Terrific. Still, that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to keep him away from Team Arrow in the meantime.

Clearly, he knows Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) connection to the Green Arrow, but he’s still essentially on the outside looking in. That won’t last for long, though.

Speaking to Zap2it and a handful of other media outlets on the set of “Arrow,” Kellum teases, “I feel like, as the season progresses, he’ll get pulled further and further into the Team Arrow world. There’s some upcoming episodes where he gets to go out in the field and stuff like that.”

Naturally, that’s going to put Holt in some serious danger with Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) lurking in the shadows. That’s something Holt’s partner — who he confirm fans will meet before the midseason finale — may not be comfortable with.

“The husband wants to get away on trips all the time,” Kellum laughs. “I think he understands Curtis is doing an important job at Palmer Tech and really trying to do the best he can for the family and for the people of the city.”

Of course, at a certain point the danger may outweigh the job in the eyes of Curtis’ partner. Should that time come, hopefully Team Arrow will have his back to assure he gets home safe and sound.

“Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
