With Tobias Church (Chad L. Coleman) out of the picture on "Arrow," the rise of the mysterious Prometheus is at hand. In the Nov. 9 episode "So It Begins," the villain's victims start piling up and for Oliver (Stephen Amell) the hunt is on to find out what links them all.

He's not going to like the answer, though. In the above exclusive clip, the Green Arrow meets Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra), Star City's new District Attorney. While the two may not be friends, they do have a common goal of stopping the masked man. How will that change when the real cause Prometheus is raging against is revealed, though?

As we know from the episode description, all of the people he's killing have a link to Oliver's past. "To explore why he's doing what he's doing, we actually have to go back in our story," Amell says. "Which is interesting and something that I'm very proud that we're doing in a fifth season because we're calling back to a lot of familiar parts of our early days in the show."

Interestingly, Oliver himself has been revisiting some of those early days as he regresses into his more violent ways. As the fight to bring Prometheus down and restore some level of sanity to his city becomes even more fierce, one has to wonder just what lengths the Green Arrow will go to.

Whatever the case, the message is clear: Nobody connected to Oliver Queen is safe.
