For over three decades now, Bruce Campbell has been making his presence known in and out of the genre entertainment world. Childhood buddies with Sam Raimi, the two created a movie back in 1981 that is still reaping benefits today: “Evil Dead.”

Season 2 of “Ash vs. Evil Dead” is gearing up to premiere on Starz in a couple months and Zap2it had a chance to sit down with Ashy Slashy himself. But, our interests weren’t merely about the new episodes or the way Lee Majors and Ted Raimi would be fitting into the equation.

No, since Campbell spent seven years on “Burn Notice” as Sam Axe — the Hawaiian shirt loving ex-Navy Seal — we wanted to pick his brain on what makes a good Hawaiian shirt. It’s worth noting that, for the first three seasons of the USA series, Campbell dressed himself for the role using items from his own personal collection. We guess, if you want to do something right, do it yourself.

Needless to say, it was two simple words that Campbell gave us when we asked him what qualifies as the perfect Hawaiian shirt: Tommy Bahama. That was easy enough! Now, if only we had the money to buy the entire store!

Season 2 of “Ash vs. Evil Dead” premieres Sunday, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Starz.
