Ben Higgins has chosen his final four on ABC's "The Bachelor," but it wasn't easy. On Monday's (Feb. 15) episode, the show traveled to Warsaw, IN so that Ben could get to know the girls in his hometown.
While there, Emily garnered herself the most important date: meeting Ben's parents. It's no secret that Emily is one of the youngest girls in the group, but she seemed to lack even more maturity when it came to socializing with the elders. Emily was talking a mile a minute with Ben's mother, who didn't seem at all impressed with the 23-year-old twin from Las Vegas.
It wasn't very surprising that Emily did not mesh well with Mr. and Mrs. Higgins, but it was shocking to see Ben's mother tear up at the thought of her son choosing the wrong woman to spend his life with. After Ben's parents talked to him about their first impression of the bubbly blonde, he quickly ended their relationship.
"I just don't think I can see you being my wife," Ben told Emily after cutting their date short.
Although it seemed like an obvious choice to lose Emily, the girls that were left are all tough contenders. He had to choose between Caila, Lauren B., Becca and JoJo, since Amanda was given a rose on the group date.
"I have no clue what I want to do," Ben shared with Chris Harrison minutes before the rose ceremony.
Becca was the one who ultimately got her heartbroken at the end of the episode. She walked away from the group looking extremely angry, and even asked the bachelor why he blindsided her before sending her home.
Hometown visits are next week. Judging from the teaser, the drama will surely ensue when Ben meets Amanda's two daughters and JoJo's overprotective brothers.
"The Bachelor" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
