The day after her gut-wrenching break up with “The Bachelor” aired on television, Caila Quinn is speaking out about what she thinks went wrong in her relationship with Ben Higgins. The third runner-up in the ABC dating show still only has kind words when speaking with Entertainment Tonight, even after she watched Higgins say “I love you” to two other women Monday (Feb. 29).
“I do have one regret,” states the 24-year-old software sales rep. “And it’s that I didn’t get things off my chest as soon as I felt them because I kind of held things in which made me sound confusing — like I sound right now. Ben just doesn’t waste any time, and I feel like I should’ve done that as well.”
During her last moments with Ben, she did grill the 26-year ABC star about his decision. One thing that was noticeably not addressed was their overnight date in the fantasy suite.
“I didn’t feel like I wanted to question the fantasy suite night,” Caila explains. “I felt like that time we did have in progress of our relationship. And I’m not dumb. There are other women there, so he still has to say goodbye to people, and I’m sure it was really hard for him too. So I’m just appreciative that he was really honest with me and I don’t regret spending that time getting to know him better.”
Caila is rumored to star in ABC’s next season of “The Bachelorette.” The reality star shares her thoughts on the show’s process and whether or not she would go through it all over again.
It’s definitely a condensed period of time (with) condensed emotions,” Caila shares. “It’s really exciting. I might do it again, because I did fall in love and it did work for me. It has worked for so many other people before, and that’s what I really want in life, so who cares how you meet somebody as long as they’re the right person?”
Caila will also be sharing her thoughts on Ben during “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” special. The episode airs Monday, March 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
