It’s been quite a year for Oscar-nominated actor Bradley Cooper and on Thursday, he’ll be one of Barbara Walters’ guests on her yearly “Most Fascinating People” special on ABC. Walters, at 86-years-old is still going strong and in the special, according to Vanity Fair, the host makes a pass at the actor.
Whether it’s solely in the name of good television, or if Walters is expressing a crush, the veteran journalist admits to Cooper, “I could just sit and stare at you but that would take too much time.”
Sure, Cooper is a handsome dude. But Walters wasn’t quite finished in showering the 40-year-old actor with accolades. “I find you very screwable … I think you’re handsome,” she continues, “I think you’re sexy.”
While many may find these come-ons as awkward, Cooper replies in a dignified, and somewhat coy, manner, “Thank you. I think that I’ve grown to stop thinking about it … But sometimes I feel better than others. Yeah, I think it has a lot to do with feeling comfortable with yourself. And I know that I’m more comfortable with myself than I’ve ever been in my life,” he continues. “So maybe that makes me more attractive.”
Joining Cooper in the special are Donald Trump, Amy Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Tracey Morgan, Misty Copeland, Donna Karan, and Ronda Rousey.
“Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People of 2015” airs Thursday Dec. 17 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
