During Sunday’s (Feb. 14) winter premiere of “The Walking Dead,” viewers were treated to a glimpse from the upcoming Season 2 premiere of “Better Call Saul.” While “Breaking Bad” fans know very well what becomes of Saul Goodman, the trip to that dark outcome is a fascinating one.
Season 1 of the spinoff series ended with Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) beginning to embrace his “Slippin’ Jimmy” ways. Not only did he find out about Chuck’s (Michael McKean) betrayal, he let his pride get the best of him and turned down the job offered his way by Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill.
Picking up where those events left off, the above sneak peek clip gives fans an idea of where McGill has gone. Kim (Rhea Seehorn) finds him at the local hotel pool, taking in some rays with a cocktail at his side. Not a bad way to spend a New Mexico afternoon, but as fans know, there are other things in store for the lawyer.
How crooked will Jimmy McGill get? Find out as Season 2 of “Better Call Saul” premieres Monday, Feb. 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
