“Big Brother 18” is off to a fun start. Read on to find out what’s going on with Jozea and the new showmances in the house, but be warned — spoilers from the live feeds.
Jozea’s delusions of grandeur
Oh, Jozea. Sweet, dumb Jozea.
This fella thinks he is in the driver’s seat this week, but little does he know that barring some kind of massive shift in the house, he’s going home 7-4 Thursday (June 30).
Jozea is convinced that his side of the house — Bronte, Paul, Victor, Natalie and Bridgette — have Frank, Da’Vonne and Zakiyah on their side and that Paulie is going to be evicted 7 to 4.
Sweet Jozea is also convinced that “Big Brother” is his ticket to fame and fortune. At 1:45 p.m. PT on Sunday’s feeds (cameras 1 and 2), Jozea tells Tiffany, “There’s gonna be interviews and pop-ups [after the show is over] … so even to get a full time job would be stupid.”
He adds, “I want to see if I can get a hosting gig for like the Grammys or something. I have a connection for that. See if they can try me out doing the red carpet for the first one and then maybe if I’m really good they can put me in something shit next year. I think I’d do amazing, I read teleprompters really, really good and I know how they want it said. And I’ll probably do like two indie films.”
He also says a few minutes later, “In this game, if you don’t prepare ahead, you lose,” which is delightfully ironic because A) Jozea is not preparing ahead at all, he thinks he has this on lock and is totally chillaxing this week and B) he doesn’t even seem to really know the game that well, so how would he even know how best to play?
Anyway, Jozea is in for a rude awakening Thursday when the Eight Pack alliance of Frank, Da'Vonne, Zakiyah, James, Nicole, Corey, Michelle and Tiffany votes him out. In fact, the Eight Pack is so secure in this week's plans that they've already started to plan who they are going to target with the next Head of Household, should they win. It's Bronte, which is going to upset one person in particular ...
Bronte and Paul have started getting a little cozy lately. Nothing overt, but Paul's been into Bronte since day one and she finally appears to have given in to his attention. That's one to keep an eye on.
The other brewing showmance is between Paulie and Zakiyah, who spent a good bit of time around 3 a.m. PT snuggling before they went to bed together.
That's about all that's happening lately in the house. The nominees stand as Paulie, Jozea and Bridgette, which aren't going to change. But a lot can happen in three days in the "Big Brother" house, so stay tuned to see if the Eight Pack alliance can really pull off its plans to get Jozea out.
