Are you looking to binge a show you've never seen before? Maybe you want to revisit an old favorite. If so, Screener's Bingeworthy list is exactly what you need in your life.

The streaming landscape is massive, leaving far too many places for you to look for shows and recommendations. Luckily, we're all about helping you to watch better, starting with the shows you should check out sooner rather than later.

These five shows are the most important ones to binge ASAP because they're not over yet. Each of them is returning in one form or another. When that happens, you're going to want to be informed.

'Gilmore Girls'

  • Time commitment: 7 seasons, 153 episodes = 6 days, 9 hours
  • Why it's worth your time: If you don’t want to be totally out of the loop when Netflix releases its “Gilmore Girls” revival in November, you should start bingeing right away. On top of being one of the most buzzworthy shows of the year, it's also full of fast talking, feels and fun.
  • You’ll love this show if you liked: "Parenthood," "The OC" and "Dawson’s Creek."
  • You might not like this show if: You're looking for a mindless watch. These gabby girls and their many, many pop culture references will keep you on your toes.
  • Short on time? Cheat binge: Season 2 (22 hours)
  • The one episode you cannot miss: "Rory's Dance" (Season 1, episode 9)
  • Where to binge it: Netflix
  • Binge it before: Nov. 25, when the revival premieres

'Twin Peaks'

  • Time commitment: 2 seasons, 30 episodes = 1 day, 1 hour
  • Why it's worth your time: David Lynch's cult classic series spun a web of mystery as the murder of a young woman shook a town and took them down the rabbit hole.
  • You’ll love this show if you liked: "The Twilight Zone," "Stranger Things" and "The X-Files."
  • You might not like this show if: You don't like to get weird. David Lynch is a king of making strange films and his voyage into TV is no different.
  • Short on time? Cheat binge: Episodes 1-16 (14 hours)
  • The one episode you cannot miss: "Episode 16"
  • Where to binge it: Netflix
  • Binge it before: 2017, when it will be revived on Showtime

‘Deadwood’

  • Time commitment: 3 seasons, 36 episodes = 1 day, 14 hours
  • Why it's worth your time: It’s a compelling drama set in the gold rush town of Deadwood, SD during the 1870s. It won eight Emmys out of 28 nominations and boasted an all-star cast including Ian McShane, Timothy Olyphant, Molly Parker, Kim Dickens and John Hawkes.
  • You’ll love this show if you liked: “Justified,” “The Shield” and “The Americans.”
  • You might not like this show if: Period drama isn’t your thing.
  • Short on time? Cheat binge: Season 1 (12 hours)
  • The one episode you cannot miss: “Here Was a Man” (Season 1, episode 4)
  • Where to binge it: Amazon, HBO Now
  • Binge it before: The follow-up movie debuts. There’s no date yet, but a script is in the works.

'24'

  • Time commitment: 9 seasons, 204 episodes = 8 days, 17 hours
  • Why it's worth your time: Before "Homeland," there was "24" and its real-time dive into the world of fighting televised terrorism is a sight to see -- especially when it's Kiefer Sutherland leading the charge.
  • You’ll love this show if you liked: "Homeland," "The Unit" and "Prison Break."
  • You might not like this show if: You're not a fan of gratuitous violence, simulated torture or people who spend an entire 24-hour period never using the restroom.
  • Short on time? Cheat binge: Season 5 (24 hours)
  • The one episode you cannot miss: "12:00am – 1:00am" (Season 1)
  • Where to binge it: Amazon Prime
  • Binge it before: Sunday, Jan. 9. "24: Legacy" premieres after the Super Bowl.

'Prison Break'

  • Time commitment: 4 seasons, 81 episodes = 3 days, 9 hours
  • Why it's worth your time: What started as a need to break a brother out of prison became a huge government conspiracy that regularly left viewers on the edge of their seats.
  • You’ll love this show if you liked: "Lost," “The Event” and “Breakout Kings.”
  • You might not like this show if: You don’t like tattoos or very detailed stories you need to be paying attention to, lest you become very lost.
  • Short on time? Cheat binge: Season 2 (22 hours)
  • The one episode you cannot miss: "Go" (Season 1, episode 21)
  • Where to binge it: Netflix
  • Binge it before: The revival series premieres spring 2017.
