Actor Charlie Sheen is set to appear on NBC’s “Today” show on Tuesday (Nov. 17) for an exclusive interview with Matt Lauer where he will be making “a revealing personal announcement.”
The show revealed the news of the interview with the former “Two and a Half Men” star on air during Monday’s broadcast.
The “Today” interview comes on the heels of a report by the National Enquirer claiming the 50-year-old actor is HIV positive; that report has not been confirmed by Sheen and Zap2it’s request for comment from Sheen’s rep has not been returned at this time.
UPDATE: Sheen’s publicist Jeff Ballard tells Zap2it that the two have parted ways, though Ballard does not specify if the reason has anything to do with these recent events.
“We had a disagreement how to handle a situation and we parted ways. We have had a 35-year friendship and I love him. I wish him nothing but the best,” says Ballard.
