The “Dancing With the Stars” judges had a real treat for fans in week 9 — for the judges’ choice dance, they each coached dances for the four remaining contestants and two judges, Len Goodman and Julianne Hough, even joined in to dance with the celebs and their regular professional partners.
Goodman joined Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough for a beautiful Viennese waltz set to Leela James’ “Fall for You.” It was wonderful to see the 71-year-old professional dancer dust off his spats and black tie. Viewers were touched by the emotional performance, there were dozens of tweets like these:

In a dance just as impressive but with a very different feel, Julianne Hough reminded everyone why she’s a two-time Mirror Ball Trophy winner. Her sexy Argentine tango with Riker Lynch and partner Allison Holker was a feast for the senses.
Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba did not take to the ballroom floor for their respective dances, unfortunately. But Bruno put forth a gorgeous contemporary dance for Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Carrie Ann coached a fiery paso doble for Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess.
All four dances were a terrific second half of the Season 20 semifinals. It’s a shame anyone has to go home Tuesday (May 12).
