Nick Carter finally employs his Backstreet Boy connections to win over the judges of "Dancing with the Stars."
For week 4, when each of the contestants were tasked with doing a dance to represent their most memorable years, Carter decides to go with a BSB classic, "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)."
The song was not only a nostalgic throwback for the boy band's biggest fans, but Carter and his partner Sharna Burgess also include some of the music video's iconic choreography. As a bonus twist, fellow Backstreet Boy AJ McLean was on hand for some supportive encouragement. *NSync member Joey Fatone as well as O-Town's Jacob Underwood and Trevor Penick also made it to the ballroom to support their friend.
"You were good as a Backstreet Boy, but you are far superior now. This ballroom training has turned you into ballroom backstreet beast," praises Carrie Ann Inaba after the jazz number is over.
The nostalgia did not replace technique either. Carter swung a 27 out of the judges, tying him for the highest score of the night.
