Hot off of their previous number which found Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd dancing in silence, the pair performed another striking routine on Monday's (May 16) episode of "Dancing With the Stars." Some may view this as a gimmick, but taking the sight away from the hearing-impaired DiMarco doesn't sound like the best idea. Yet, we joined the judges and audience in their curiosity to see how exactly this would work.

Dancing to "Unsteady" by X Ambassadors, Peta placed a blindfold on Nyle halfway into the song and the extra hurdle just helped the duo soar even higher in their performance. It's a brave choice for a deaf person to compete on a popular dance competition series but to put himself under extra scrutiny while temporary blinded ... well, we're kind of speechless.

The judges had the same reaction as Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman handed down a perfect score to the duo. With 10s all around, it's no surprise they've made it through to the finals.

"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
