If you’ve been waiting since 1994 for “Dinosaurs” to make its triumphant return — well, this isn’t it. However, a YouTuber named Benjamin Roberts has resurrected the show for a mashup music video he created set to The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize,” and it’s amazing.
Earl Sinclair — patriarch of the “Dinosaurs” clan — stars in the video, subbing in for the rapper. Roberts has taken clips from the show, cutting them together nearly perfectly with the song. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think Earl was rapping the song himself.

Roberts explained on Reddit that the video came about during a vacation from work while his family was out of town. “I dedicated three full days to creating the best mashup I could think of,” he says.
While the end product is something to be revered, Earl wasn’t going to be the focus of the video at first. “My initial idea was to make whole video just with the boss [Mr. Richfield], since he looks like an angry rapper too — but he speaks too rapidly,” Roberts says.
Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
