There is still over a month before “Game of Thrones” makes its triumphant return to HBO with Season 6. While Jon Snow’s involvement in the new episodes has been a regular topic of conversation, actual snow has not.

Thanks to Sky Atlantic — the channel in the UK and Ireland the airs previous episode of the series — British “snow artist” Simon Beck was tapped to bring some unique imagery to life in the French Alps. It’s definitely a more unique promotion for the program but one that is equally edgy and awe-inspiring.

Here, Beck is shown trudging around in the frost as he creates a huge direwolf, accompanied by the words, “Winter is Coming.” Obviously, this isn’t easy work and Beck confirms in the above video that the art took 13 hours to make. For those keeping track, this breaks down to 65,000 steps taken.

While it doesn’t look easy, the finished product is something to behold.

“Game of Thrones” Season 6 will premiere Sunday, April 24 on HBO.
