Heather Thomson is saying goodbye to “The Real Housewives of New York” after three seasons, Us Weekly reports Wednesday (July 15).
Thomson is reportedly leaving the show so she can focus on her business ventures and spending time with family — and spend less time fighting with grown women. “She did the show to promote her business and later to be with her best friend, Carole Radziwill, and didn’t expect it to end up with fighting with Bethenny [Frankel] and Sonja [Morgan] and the rest edited out,” a source tells Us. “It is no longer a good fit with where she sees her life going so she is making the choice to walk away.”
The news comes at an interesting time as the Housewife found herself in hot water with co-star Countess Luann de Lesseps on the most recent episode of the series airing Tuesday (July 14) in what will forever be known as the “naked man incident.”
Thomson more than flipped out after the Countess and Ramona Singer brought home some strange men while out partying in Turks and Caicos, one of which Thomson found naked in Frankel’s empty bed at the house. When confronted about it, the Countess accused Thomson of “being uncool,” but later the businesswoman freaked out even more when she found out one of the men is married.
“The Real Housewives of New York City” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
