"How to Get Away with Murder" is kicking off the Season 2 surprises early with a visit from Famke Janssen.

The "X-Men" actress will play someone from Annalise's (Viola Davis) past, and an unwelcome visitor in the present by the look on the law professor's face when she shows up in the sneak peek clip.

Annalise is busy reminding the Keating 5 that she controls their fate at her firm, not a trophy that has been misplaced after being involved in a couple of murders.

"You need a trophy to do your job? Then quit. You think you deserve to be here or that your job is safe? No. You’re here because I let you be here. So do your work or get the hell out of my house," she says before Janssen enters.

"I'd probably do what she says," Janssen offers to the downtrodden law students, "What? You still don't like surprises?"

Anyone that has watched an episode of this show knows that surprises are probably Annalise's least favorite thing.

"How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2 premieres Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
