Jeff Daniels, star of “The Newsroom” and “Dumb and Dumber To,” stopped by “The Tonight Show” Monday (Nov. 10), where he and host Jimmy Fallon enlisted Nick Jonas and Usher to play a game of Pyramid, a la the old game show “$100,000 Pyramid.”

Hilarity ensues, but mostly because of how bad Daniels and Jonas are at this game. If Usher had played on Fallon’s team, it would have been a slaughter. But watch above, because not only does Jeff Daniels twerk (yes, you read that right), but Nick Jonas has apparently never seen a movie in his life.

The category is gangster movies and Jonas … does not do well. “He’s 15 years old!” shouts Fallon. “If it had been ‘Episodes of Spongebob,’ we would have gotten all of them!”

Below, Daniels recounts his worst audition, which after a few keystrokes on Google turns out might be a part he lost to Kevin Kline. There are also a couple clips of Daniels’ charming interview, including where he gets the entire audience to do the “Big Bay Shuffle.”

“Dumb and Dumber To” is in theaters now and “The Newsroom” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
