“Seinfeld” fans were over the moon when Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and George (Jason Alexander) appeared during the Super Bowl, having a cup of coffee at Tom’s Diner in an extended commercial for Seinfeld’s web series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” Chances are that’s the last time it’ll happen, though.
In an interview as part of Buzzfeed Brews on Monday (Feb. 3), Seinfeld admits the stars really aligned on the reunion. “The opportunity was unique — to be on the Super Bowl is not something that we’re ever going to surpass,” he says.
However, then he lays out the sad news no fan wants to hear: “So I may be wrong, but I have a feeling you’ve seen the final code on that very unique experience.”
That’s not a definite no, though. After all, who knew two months ago Jerry and George would face down Newman (Wayne Knight) during the Super Bowl? Maybe one day Seinfeld will be able to get Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards in on the act.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
