In the latest trailer for “Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” coming to Netflix in just 10 days’ time, Jones (Krysten Ritter) gets her drink on at Luke Cage’s (Mike Colter) bar — and helps him in a massive bar brawl, which leads him to figure out that she’s a superhero like he is.

“You tossed a man twice your size across the bar with one hand,” says Cage. “Does anyone else know about your … abilities?”

“There’s one other out there. His ability was to make people do whatever he wants,” says Jones, as viewers hear Kilgrave’s (David Tennant) ominous voice whispering, “Jessica … you want to do it. You know you do.”

The latest kick-butt crimefighter is out to prove that Kilgrave is controlling people and forcing them to do terrible things — like putting an entire police precinct into a guns-to-the-head tableau while Jones watches helplessly. But she’s also finding time to help her friends — or her only friend, Trish (Rachael Taylor) — and get into some extra-curricular activities with Cage.

“You are a hard-drinking, short-fused, mess of a woman,” says Cage. That about sums it up.

“Jessica Jones” premieres on Netflix Friday, Nov. 20.
