Perhaps some secrets are better left buried. That doesn’t matter to “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon, though. After all, he’s got a crowd to entertain and if that means tracking down “Hunger Games” star Josh Hutcherson’s mom to dig up some dirt, that is what’s going to happen.
When Hutcherson appeared on the show Friday (Feb. 27), Fallon had some photos ready from when the actor competed as a child in a pageant known as Little Mr. Boone County. “You’ve seen ‘Toddlers and Tiaras,’ right?” Hutcherson asks. “It’s not dissimilar to that. It’s a beauty pageant of sorts, but it’s at a county fair in Boone County — my home county — in Kentucky.”
The story got even better, though. For his performance at the pageant, Hutcherson sand the Brooks and Dunn’s country hit, “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” Unfortunately, Fallon didn’t have video of that part of the pageant, but Hutcherson treated the audience to a small portion of the song.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
