Justin Bieber’s comeback tour just hit a slight hiccup. While the 21-year-old was performing live on “Today,” he couldn’t keep things polite even when the camera was still rolling.
The east coast airing of Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” performance had a little added bonus: Him turning to the cameraman at the end of the song to snip, “Next time I won’t dance because the camera’s right here the whole time. Might as well not even dance.”
He can be heard saying, “What did I do this for if they’re just –” before the footage cuts off. Fans’ screams can be heard in the background.
Bieber almost certainly didn’t intend for the audience at home to hear him lash out like that, and all things considered his griping was contained compared to some of his temper tantrums in years past.
But Bieber’s whole “adult” transformation isn’t quite convincing when he can’t make it through a high profile appearance without generating negative headlines like this.
