regina marian robin hood once upon a time Keep your 'Once Upon a Time' hiatus magical with these fan fictions picks

It is still a long wait until March 1 and the return of “Once Upon a Time.” What are fans supposed to do during those weeks without their favorite Storybrooke characters and couples? Sure, there’s reruns but sometimes that isn’t really that satisfying.
In the spirit of having new “Once Upon a Time” stories to keep things magical, and to cure the withdrawals, Zap2it has put together a list of fan fiction to help fans get through this difficult hiatus. From popular ships to fallen heroes, there should be a little something in this list for everyone.
Raising the dead

Are you still mad that Graham died in Season 1? Or that Neal wasn’t able to survive the Wicked Witch? Some of Storybrooke’s favorites might not be around in the show but these stories bring them back to life for one more tale.
“The Curse” by sparrhawk — What if Regina hadn’t killed Graham?

“Saving Graham” by l0nelyhunterr — Graham wakes up in hospital after Regina crushed his heart with no memories of his life as Sheriff Graham and a loss of humanity. Can Emma save him before he destroys himself?

Works in Progress” by Rosel — August and Neal try to convince eachother to return to Storybrooke to face Emma, their fathers, and all of the other consequences that lay before them.

Believe in Second Chances” by blk0192 — Searching for Rumple, Emma discovers Neal and finds out why he hasn’t been seen in town. When Neal begins to die, Rumple and Emma, along with the help of a few friends, must work together to try to save him. Will they succeed or will all their efforts be for naught?

Okay, Emma/Regina shippers, we’ve heard you loud and clear. There is a passionate following for the good cop/bad cop dynamic between Emma and Regina and fans want more. Being this is the internet and fan fiction is involved, sometimes that goes romantic, but hey, what’s wrong with shaking it up? It’s also just acknowledging that these two are pretty perfect working together.
“Realizations” by inkfiction —  Emma makes a discovery at the Mills’ Residence.
“Emma Swan’s Guide to Ooh La La” by Exquisiteliltart — Emma invites Regina to a party

“Enough” by LastKnight3219 — Emma has had enough of Snow meddling

Are you here for the magic or are you here for the love? “Once Upon a Time” has also created some really amazing canon ships. Check out the fics below of some of your favorite couples.
“The Path that Moonbeams Make” by KnifeEdge — Emma likes to sleep with her window open. She never quite realized who she’d be inviting in. All things considered, however, Captain Hook showing up in her bedroom after midnight is hardly the worst of his offenses. Emma knows how to handle Hook.

“In the Shadow of the Toll Bridge” by Nikstiltslermur — Something DID jog the memory of our favorite prince that night…but it wasn’t the windmill. What would have happened if David Nolan had remembered his REAL life instead of his fake one that fateful night in Gold’s shop? What would have happened if David and Mary Margaret had awoken long before anyone else and been left to deal with the monumental task of breaking the curse?
“Storybrooke’s Tale of Beauty and the Beast” by Teddy’s Twin — Henry discovers a girl in a basement of the hospital that sends Mr. Gold’s world reeling. He’s lived without her for so long, and now she’s alive. Alive, despite what he’d been told. Now what will happen as he tries to win her back?

“Out of Order” by LadiesofSherwood — They each carried a small, white box home on the same day five years ago. Boxes filled with remnants and memories of lives lived and lost. Boxes full of ash. Nothing more. Just specks of dust, holding on wouldn’t bring Regina Mills or Robin Locksley closer to their loved ones. But, served as catalysts to their meeting. Placed them in each other’s path, gave them a second chance.

“Baker’s Dozen” by SomewhereApart — He comes in every day at 8:15, orders the same thing, and flirts with the girl behind the counter. Regina watches him from the kitchen of her bakery – appreciates, but doesn’t approach. But as fall turns into winter, things begin to change. 13 weeks of modern AU Outlaw Queen, set in New York City.
