Always a showstopper on any red carpet, Lady Gaga didn’t fail to turn heads at the 58th annual Grammy Awards as she entered the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday (Feb. 15), proudly paying tribute to one of the music world’s biggest losses from this past year, David Bowie.
With bright orange hair, an eclectically designed floor length royal blue jacket dress and sky high red heels, the songstress made a fierce and purposeful entrance, reminding everyone that she will be honoring the great Ziggy Stardust with a performance later in the evening.
Gaga, who is also at the 2016 Grammys as a nominee for Best Song Written for Visual Media this year, had her tuxedo dress outfit custom made by Marc Jacobs, and she is quite possibly the only person other than Bowie himself that could pull off such a crazy outfit and still look beautifully fierce.
But Gaga’s love for Bowie goes much further than her Lady Stardust outfit — her admiration is skin deep. Earlier in the day it was revealed that she got a tattoo of his face on the side of her stomach.
