Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) is dead on “Legends of Tomorrow” — or is he? Fans say Leonard Snart sacrifice himself and the ice in his veins to save the world at the end of the May 12 episode of the CW series, seemingly killing him off. He’s not going anywhere, though.

Instead, Deadline reports, Miller has restructures his deal and will instead recur across the CW’s DC TV universe. “We always knew that he wouldn’t be a permanent member of The Waverider,” executive producer Greg Berlanti tells the site.

That means when the show sets sail in Season 2, Captain Cold won’t be among the crew on the time ship. However, he will appear on the show, as well as “The Flash” and who knows where else. Should this idea work out, with a contract that allows Miller to appear all over The CW, Berlanti is hopeful to do it again with other actors.

“In success we hope to continue with other characters finding their way across all the shows,” he explains.

In the meantime, who knows where or when Captain Cold will turn up again. Just don’t get discourage because he’s still out there and he’ll be back. If that’s not enough, you’ll also be able to get your Miller fix when “Prison Break” returns later in the year — a project the actor is also currently working on.
