Tyler Posey is bringing the ’90s back to TV, with a sneak peek clip of his “Lip Sync Battle” performance.

Posey’s performance is both fitting and strange. He’s a child of the ’90s, born in 1991, making the nostalgia pretty adorable, but it also means he was about six years old when his song of choice, “Flagpole Sitta” by Harvey Danger, was released.

It’s probably a safe bet that the lyrics went right over his head back in kindergarten.

That didn’t stop the other stars on the stage from singing along though. LL Cool J, Chrissy Teigen and Gigi Hadid all rocked out along with Posey, as he danced like a maniac in his uber-90s flannel, jean shorts and backwards baseball hat.

Gigi Hadid also managed to throw it back to the ’90s with a performance of what was surely another childhood hit for her and Posey: “Larger Than Life” by the Backstreet Boys.

Unless, of course, you’re busy. In which case, always ignore coincidence.”
