While “Beverly Hills, 90210” has been off the air since 2000, it’s never too far from people’s minds. After all, it was the angsty teen drama that defined a generation, long before Dawson set sail on any sort of creek.

Among those it certainly helped define is WWE superstar Christian, who let his “90210” nerd flag fly on the latest episode of WWE Network’s “The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness.”

In it, he and co-host Edge welcome Dylan McKay himself — Luke Perry — to talk about the show via Skype and decide which WWE superstars could easily sub in for the former stars.

“It would have to be Michael P.S. Hayes,” Perry says when it comes to recasting himself on the show. “Pure Superstar Hayes,” he adds of the latest addition to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016. As for Brandon, the role made famous by Jason Priestley, Perry thinks Rey Mysterio would be a good fit.

“They’re the same size and Jason should be wearing a mask,” Perry reasons.

His final pick is a new Kelly Taylor, who was played by Jennie Garth on the original series. The actor is looking to switch the gender and have current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H do the honors. He’ll just have to grow out his hair again first.
