Maroon 5’s newest music video — for “Sugar” — is likely the band’s most creative yet. It starts out with a simple premise, explained by frontman and “The Voice” mentor Adam Levine. “It’s Dec. 6, 2014, and we’re going to drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can,” he says at the start of the video.
What follows is a series of surprise performances of the song at actual weddings, much to the astonishment of a random selection of brides and grooms. The band even enlisted “Wedding Crashers” director David Dobkin to helm the video.
The funniest part of the video — besides the looks on the newlyweds’ faces — is the not-so-subtle inclusion of a commercial for “The Voice” in the video. Of course Levine would drive by a giant billboard for his own show and it would be the only one in the video to not get blurred out. You can see a still of the moment below.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
