The only thing worse than dropping an f-bomb on live TV is dropping that f-bomb in your guest’s name on live TV.
During a segment of FOX News on Monday (Nov. 10) night, “The Kelly File” host Megyn Kelly — the same woman who received criticism for saying that “Santa is white” — attempted to introduce former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee onto the show and ended up making a major (hilarious) mistake.
“Joining me now, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who’s the host of F***ka — Huckabee,” says Kelly.
Although the reporter quickly catches herself before she is able to say “F***kabee” all the way through, the damage is already done as shown by Huckabee’s smirk on the split screen. (Isn’t it bizarre that she was able to say his name correctly the first time, but messes it up on the second try?).
Kelly has yet to respond to the mistake on Twitter, where fans were quick to remark on the flub, but according to The Blaze, she made sure to comment on the word-fumble later in the show.
“Something else that happened on the program is also getting a lot of attention on Twitter,” admits Kelly. “[There’s a] tweet from some nice man named Sean who said, ‘Megyn, you’re a delight to watch and gave a stoic performance after your slip up with Governor Huckabee’s name.’ I thought I was stoic too — I have a heart of a 12 year old boy.”
What do you think of the f-bomb? Did Kelly handle the situation well?
