In the Hannah Swensen film series on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, the titular baker, played by Alison Sweeney, has two gorgeous, eligible bachelors vying for her attention. While Cameron Mathison previously told Zap2it that viewers will have to “wait and see” if Mike fights for Hannah, Gabriel Hogan says that he is #TeamNorman all the way.
“Mike and Norman are such great characters to have to create the love triangle with Hannah,” says Hogan. “It’s wonderful that the fans have been so involved with this, [but I’m] #TeamNorman all the way.”
Hogan admits that neither Mike nor Norman will probably ever throw in the towel when it comes to Hannah, which is part of what makes it so much fun — and he can’t wait to do more.
“It’s always fun to do these films. Fantastic cast and crew. Lots of laughs on set and some great work by all the performers. I look forward to doing more!” says Hogan.
When pressed to pick a favorite Lake Eden character, Hogan says it’s too tough to choose just one, but he does say that the books have given him a good sense of the world created by Joanne Fluke.
“I have not read all the books, just enough to get a good sense of the tone and the characters etc. Then when we start shooting I try to stay true to that initial sense as we tell our story.”
“Murder, She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery” premieres Sunday, Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
