Netflix has released the first teaser for Chelsea Handler’s new project with the streaming site. She is still developing a talk show for Netflix, but before that launches there’s the “Chelsea Does …” four-part documentary series, which Handler says “gives [her] a chance to finally show you [her] serious side.”

The four features will tackle marriage, racism, Silicon Valley and drugs. Handler told the TCA summer press tour back in August that they are wildly different than anything she’s done before.

“Some were very personal. Some were very mind opening. Some were jarring,” said Handler at the time. “But it was a great entre into the Netflix world … Netflix is, you know they are very well-known for letting talent drive its own car. They get on board with you, and they give you the structure that you need and then they let you drive. … It’s such a pleasure to work with people that have faith in you and let you blossom because a lot of people don’t have experiences like that in this industry. And I think I’ve only been in situations where I’ve been told what to do a number of times, and I didn’t respond well to that.”

Handler also said that while they’ve been primarily focusing on these four documentaries, the talk show “will come at some point next year, definitely.”

The four-part Handler series premieres on Netflix in January 2016.
