Starz announced Monday (Aug. 29) that “Outlander” has found its Lord John Grey.

Aussie actor David Berry has been cast in the pivotal role that will appear in the series for seasons to come. But if you’re clamoring for more Berry before he debuts on “Outlander,”  here are three things to check out before Season 3 premieres.

‘A Place to Call Home’

This Australian period drama features Berry as James Bligh, a character who tries to commit suicide after he is discovered to be gay.

‘Home and Away’

Berry was featured in 10 episodes of this long-running Australian soap opera. He played Logan Meyer, a man pursuing Indigo Walker (Samara Weaving) who was married to Romeo Smith (Luke Mitchell).

A singing career

In addition to acting, Berry tours nationally and internationally as a singer in Scream and Shout He has also performed with Opera Australia and sung the National Anthem at some of the nation’s top sporting events.
