“Powerpuff Girls” fans are eagerly awaiting the revival of the series on Cartoon Network, and now they can get their first sneak peek of the new animated series. The clip is from the premiere episode, titled “I Am Not a Princess!”, which is appropriate for these pint-sized crimefighters.

In the clip, Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup face off against a lumberjack villain who wants to destroy a “hippie carnival” and restore manliness back to Townsville. The actual hippies can’t be bothered to defend themselves, so it’s up to the Powerpuff Girls to step in.

“This day finally got interesting,” says Buttercup. “If you’re looking for a fight, old Buttercup can satisfy your need for a beat down,” which she proceeds to give the lumberjack after he calls her a princess.

Buttercup always was the sassiest.

“Powerpuff Girls,” starring Amanda Leighton as Blossom, Kristen Li as Bubbles, Natalie Palamides as Buttercup and Tom Kenny reprising his role as the Narrator/Mayor, premieres spring 2016 on Cartoon Network.
